MYTH 1: Shaving your system and undesired facial hair will make the head of hair grow back thicker and darker and faster. |
FACT 1: Imagine this: Take a steel item, a clear, crisp one during this, now glide the product over the skin, let's only use your forearm. Think about the idea that your hairs' roots are approximately 4 fairly serious layers under the skins surface. Now, consider this... how exactly does any object, sharp or blunt have the opportunity when glided above the surface in the skin, to change the pigment, thickness and stimulate regrowth? It can't, scientifically, it simply can't. Sometimes people want this that occurs, I've known clients that have little or sparse eyebrows and still have toyed with the concept of shaving them off to make sure they would grow back thicker, but it really won't work! The main reason for hair changing its depth of pigment and thickness in some areas on the body, is as a result of hormonal changes (puberty, age, menopause, PCOS), your DNA and even, medication.

FACT 1.2: About pigment, thickness and increase in relation to shaving: When shaving, the blade cuts a clear edge, this is at the hairs thickest point on the shaft, not only does this produce a 'thick feeling' additionally, it appears darker. In terms of new hair growth, the body, facial and scalp locks are continuously growing, shaving only trims the head of hair and in absolutely no way prohibits or stimulates its growth. One should note though, when waxing your arms or legs continuously, the particular direction on the follicle changes in the pulling in the other direction for the natural grain of the head of hair. This can cause a fluffier than normal regrowth – however – not darker or thicker for it.
